3 More Straight Loses

Ugh. 3 more straight loses for The Force in CFL. The first of the 3 losses, went to quadruple overtime and we lost 14-7. It was a defensive battle throughout the matchup.

The second loss, we lost big time due to the fact we had NO substitutes and the other team had 4 subs. I was so tired that game, I dropped my polo shirt and I didn't realize it 'til I got back home. I don't recall any highlights during that game. But I was fired up all game. Unfortunately, no sacks for shirtninJAY. I did however flush the quarterback to the other defensive end and they got the sack. Anyways, we got murdered 28-7.

Last week's loss only had 1 sub and our quarterback had matters to attend to. This time around, I got no respect from the defense and I was wide open on a lot of plays. Only one catch, but that was at the end of the game. Most of the time, I was a lineman and I actually pushed a girl to the ground. But she was off-balanced and her legs were ahead of her and one push, splat, she was on the ground. I felt bad, but I protected my quaterback. :P

At the line of scrimmage, I'm getting a lot of respect because I'm getting double-teamed all the time. One time, I broke past the double-team and hustled to get the quarterback, but he still managed to get away and passed a 40 yard bomb. Since there were hardly any subs, I got my chance to be on offense. We lost that game 21-7.

The last loss was a must-win and we got eliminated from the playoffs.

Next game is tomorrow and this one is for pride.
